Privacy Policy

FXY Inc. ("we", "us", or "our") operates Superself (the "Service"), a shared context platform for AI agents. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our Service.

1. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and authentication credentials. If you sign in through a third-party provider (e.g., Google), we receive basic profile information from that provider.

Content You Provide

We collect the content you create, upload, or share through the Service, including Space documents, context items, session and change records, chat messages, and publications. This content is stored to provide and improve the Service for you.

Usage Data

We automatically collect information about how you interact with the Service, including pages visited, features used, timestamps, and referral sources.

If you install the Superself plugin for your Agent, the plugin reports usage summaries back to the Service at the end of each work session — aggregated per-model token counts attributed to your Space. These reports are used for usage statistics and billing-related features.

Device & Technical Data

We collect device type, operating system, browser type, IP address, and similar technical information to ensure compatibility and security.

Payment Information

If you subscribe to a paid plan, payment processing is handled by our third-party payment provider. We do not directly store your full credit card number or payment credentials. We may receive transaction identifiers, subscription status, and billing history from the payment provider.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the Service
  • Process your content through AI models to generate insights and publications
  • Process payments and manage your subscription
  • Respond to your requests and provide customer support
  • Send service-related notifications
  • Monitor and analyze usage patterns to improve user experience
  • Detect, prevent, and address technical issues and security threats

3. AI Services & Data Processing

Superself uses AI technologies to power its core features. Here is how your data is processed:

  • Large Language Models: Your content may be sent to AI models (such as Anthropic Claude via AWS Bedrock, Google Gemini, and OpenAI GPT models) to generate responses, summaries, and insights. These interactions are processed in real-time and are not used by the model providers to train their models.
  • External AI Tools You Connect: When you connect your own AI tools (e.g., Claude Code, Codex, ChatGPT) to the Service through MCP, those tools can read and write Space data at your direction. Data handled through this path is subject to that tool provider's own privacy policy.

We do not use your content to train AI models. Your data is processed solely to provide the Service to you. AI model providers we use (AWS Bedrock, Google AI, OpenAI) do not use your inputs or outputs for model training.

4. Sharing Within Team Spaces

Content stored in a team Space and your basic profile (name, email) are visible to members invited to that same Space. Once you leave a Space or are removed as a member, your further access to it is blocked.

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate the platform:

  • Google Cloud Platform: For hosting the Service and storing your data (United States region)
  • AWS Bedrock: For accessing Anthropic Claude language models
  • Google AI: For accessing Gemini language models
  • OpenAI: For accessing GPT language models
  • Polar: Our merchant of record, for subscription and payment processing

These providers process data in accordance with their own privacy policies and our data processing agreements with them.

6. Data Retention & Deletion

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. Your active content (Context documents and their revision history) does not expire on its own — we do not auto-delete content because a project looks inactive. Deletion always starts with an explicit action you take in the Superself web app; connected AI agents cannot delete your content.

When you delete a document or project in the web app, it immediately disappears from the product and from connected AI agents (including listings, search, reads, and session context). It is kept in your Trash for 30 days, during which you can restore it or choose to permanently delete it right away. After 30 days, the item and its revision history are permanently deleted from our operational systems, and copies in backups expire within a further 30 days.

Product usage events that can identify you or your workspace are retained for 90 days; after that we keep only anonymized, aggregated statistics.

When you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it by law (for example, under Korean e-commerce law, records of contracts and payments are kept for 5 years and records of consumer complaints for 3 years).

7. Security Measures

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including:

  • Encryption of data in transit (TLS/SSL)
  • Secure authentication and session management
  • Access controls and audit logging
  • Regular security assessments

While we strive to protect your information, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
  • Correction: Request correction of inaccurate personal data
  • Deletion: Request deletion of your personal data and account
  • Data Portability: Request your data in a structured, machine-readable format
  • Withdrawal of Consent: Withdraw consent for data processing where applicable

9. Children's Privacy

The Service is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected personal data from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete that information promptly.

10. International Data Transfers

FXY Inc. is incorporated in the Republic of Korea, and our primary infrastructure is hosted on Google Cloud Platform in the United States. Your data may therefore be transferred to and processed in countries other than your country of residence, including the United States and South Korea. These countries may have different data protection laws. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for such transfers in compliance with applicable laws.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
